Tending to the Heart

Join me Saturday, June 18th for a day spent in retreat honouring the seasonal transition into Summer.  In traditional Chinese Medicine, Summer is the season that is most yang, when our energy and nature’s energy is most outgoing and expansive. It is the time of year to tend to our hearts, the place that houses our emotions and our ability to lean into joy.  When there is harmony and freedom in our heart space, it allows us to live life fully, feel vibrant and engaged in the world and be able to both embrace and lean into joy regardless of our experiences.
Fire is the element of Summer- it represents transformation and light, connection and determination. In this retreat we will have nourishing time spent to explore these themes, and how to embody the essence of this season for internal harmony. We will spend time in vinyasa flow, yin yoga, and mindfulness practices.  The day also includes a healthy and inspiring lunch at Paus’ hilltop bistro with the day capped at their wonderful outdoor bathing experience.  Message me at janine@spuoc.com  to register or for any additional information.
