It is my pleasure to invite you to my next extended seasonal practice on December 19th, Saturday 10:30-12:30. It will be the last workshop of 2020! As it will be about 2 days shy of the winter solstice, and the beginning of our most yin season, it is a potent time to explore practices that allow for a graceful transition into this introspective season.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, Winter is associated the vitality of our kidneys which contains our jing, our essence energy. They are connected to the health of our bones, our growth and development and supply reserve Qi to organs that are in need, to name a few aspects. They are also connected to the water element – fluidity, power and stability, which has many implications and manifestations in our mind/body.

This season we look to nourish our energy supply and replenish it so that we can allow for new growth in Spring. Join me in this practice to explore how to care for ourselves, support our internal systems and feel nourished.
